    Stuffed Cabbage w/Sweet and Sour Sauce

    List of Ingredients




    1 head cabbage with lg. leaves
    1 lb. ground meat (seasoned to your liking)

    SAUCE:
    1 sm. can tomato paste
    1 sm. can tomato sauce
    6 oz. Heinz ketchup
    1 c. brown sugar
    1/4 c. lemon juice
    1/2 c. raisins, if desired
    6 oz. water

    Recipe



    1. Boil water in pot large enough to cover cabbage. When boiling, immerse cabbage just long enough to soften leaves. Remove from pot. Peel off large leaves to stuff. Put small amount of seasoned ground beef in center. Roll up, hold with toothpick.

    2. SAUCE: Mix ingredients in 3 quart pan. Bring to slight boil.

    3. Put stuffed cabbage into sauce. Cook over very low flame 25 minutes. Serve over rice if desired. Preparation time: 45 minutes to 1 hour. Serve: 6 to 8.
