    1 box yellow cake mix
    8 ounces cream cheese, softened
    3 1/2 ounces instant vanilla pudding
    1 cup milk
    8 ounces Cool Whip®, thawed
    1 can crushed pineapple, drained
    1/2 cup maraschino cherries, quartered
    1/2 cup chopped nuts
    1/2 cup coconut

    Recipe



    Mix cake mix according to package directions. Grease and flour a large 15 1/2 x 10 1/2 baking pan and bake for 15 minutes or until done using toothpick test. Allow to cool.

    Mix pudding with cold milk. Beat cream cheese into pudding. Fold Cool Whip into Pudding mixture by hand.

    Spread this mixture on cooled cake. Top with pineapple, nuts, cherries and coconut (in that order).

    Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
