2 eggs
1 cup milk
2 cups flour
1/4 cup sugar
dash of salt
1/2 tsp baking powder
peanut oil
powdered sugarRecipe
Beat eggs, add milk and sugar, then mix well. Combine flour, salt, and baking powder then add to wet ingredients and mix. Place 1 1/2 inches of oil in a frying pan and heat until hot. Using one cup of batter at a time, pour through a funnel into the oil, making a crisscross pattern. When both sides are golden brown, put on a paper plate and sprinkle with powdered sugar. Makes about 8 good-sized cakes.
