    List of Ingredients




    1 lb. ground beef
    1 c. chopped onion
    ¾ c. mild salsa
    1 envelope taco seasoning
    ¼ c. water
    1 c. frozen corn
    1 can (2 ¼ oz) sliced ripe olives, drained
    1 pkg. (8 ½ oz) corn bread/muffin mix
    1/3 c. milk
    1 egg
    1 c. (4 oz) shredded cheddar cheese
    1 can (4 oz) diced green chilies, undrained

    Recipe



    In a large skilled, cook beef and onion until beef is no longer pink; drain. Stir in salsa, seasoning mix, and water. Cook over low heat for 5-6 minutes or until mixture thickens. Stir in corn and olives. Spoon into a greased 8-in. square baking dish. Prepare corn bread mix batter according to package directions, using milk and egg. Stir in cheese and chilies. Spread over meat mixtures. Bake at 350 for 30-35 minutes or until crust is golden brown.

    Yield: 6 servings
