    King's Arm Tavern Corn Pudding

    Source of Recipe

    King's Arm Tavern

    Recipe Introduction

I have made this for Thanksgiving for years and years.
It's a little "fussy" to make. This year I tried something easier, of course it wasn't as good; but had to do.

    List of Ingredients

    3 eggs
    2 cups fresh corn kernel
    1/4 cup flour
    1 tbsp sugar
    1 tsp salt
    1/2 tsp white pepper
    2 tbsp melted butter
    2 cups light cream

    Recipe

Beat eggs well; combine with corn.
Mix flour sugar, salt pepper and add to corn mixture.
Stir in butter and cream and mix thoroughly.
Pour into a buttered 1 1/2 quart baking dish.
Place in a larger pan of hot water.
Bake at 325º for about an hour until firm and brown.
    Yield 8-10 servings.

My Note: Always takes me more then an hour.
It's difficult having enough oven space at Thanksgiving for this. I usually have to end up microwaving it at the very end. If I had the oven space I would ALWAYS make this.
