Viceroy's Dessert
List of Ingredients
2 packages vanilla pudding
3 1/2 cups milk
2 packages lady fingers
3/4 cup dry sherry
1 cup heavy cream
1 T confectioner's sugar
Apricot jam
Grate chocolateRecipe
Cook pudding with milk; add 1/2 cup sherry when thick.
Spread layer of jam on lady fingers.
Place lady fingers on bottom of glass dish and around sides.
Sprinkle lightly with sherry.
Top with 1/2 cooled pudding.
Whip cream with sugar.
Put half on top of pudding.
Repeat another layer of each ending with whipped cream.
Sprinkle chocolate over and chill in refrigerator.
