    2 large cans B&M baked beans

    2 tablespoons brown sugar

    2 tablespoons vegetable oil

    1 package Lipton Onion Soup Mix

    1/2 cup boiling water

    Apple slices

    Additional brown sugar to taste

    Recipe



    1. Heat oil in a large skillet. Add the 2 tablespoons brown sugar; stir until melted and thickened. Add beans, stirring constantly.

    2. Dissolve onion soup mix in boiling water. Add to the beans.

    3. Pour the mixture into a casserole dish. Cover with apple slices and sprinkle with additional brown sugar.

    4. Bake, covered, for 15 minutes at 350° F. Turn off oven; remove cover and leave casserole in oven until apple slices get crispy, about 5 minutes.
