2-1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup dark brown sugar
1/2 cup white sugar
1/2 cup margarine
3 large egg whites
2 tablespoons honey
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon almond extract
1 cup butterscotch chips
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
Recipe
1. Preheat oven to 300. Mix together flour, soda, and salt and set aside.
2. In a large bowl, blend brown and white sugars. Add margarine and mix with electric mixer.
3. In a small bowl, beat egg whites until fluffy. Add egg whites, honey, vanilla and almond extracts to sugar mixture. Beat until smooth. Scrape down sides of bowl. Add flour mixture, butterscotch, and chocolate chips and mix on low speed just until combined. Do not overmix.
4. Drop by rounded tablespoon onto ungreased cookie sheets about 2 inches apart. Bake 18-20 minutes until lightly browned. Transfer to cool flat surface.
