    List of Ingredients




    1-1/2 pounds stewing beef, cut into 1-1/2 or 2-inch chunks

    5 to 6 large carrots, cut in pieces

    Baking Potatoes, quartered

    Mushrooms, (Try Portabella for a great taste.)

    3 to 4 stalks of celery, cut in pieces

    1/2 onion, diced

    Chopped garlic, to taste

    1 large can of tomato paste

    Flour, for dredging

    Recipe



    1. Dredge meat in flour and put on the bottom of the crock-pot.

    2. Add all other ingredients, pouring tomato paste over the top.

    3. Cook on low for 8 to 9 hours and serve over pasta or rice, or with French Bread.

    (Note: There is no need to stir the mixture while it is cooking.)
