    List of Ingredients




    1 pound ground beef

    1 cup soft breadcrumbs

    1 egg, beaten

    1 (8-ounce) can tomato sauce, divided

    1 teaspoon salt

    1 teaspoon chili powder

    Dash of cayenne pepper

    1 package frozen mixed vegetables, thawed

    1/2 cup shredded American cheese

    Recipe



    1. Combine beef, breadcrumbs, egg, 1/4 cup of the tomato sauce, salt, chili powder and cayenne pepper. Press into a 9-inch pie pan; bake at 350 degrees F. for 10 minutes.

    2. Top with the thawed mixed vegetables; add remainder of the tomato sauce and continue baking for 30 minutes longer. Sprinkle shredded cheese over top and bake until cheese melts.

    Serves 4 to 6
