1 pound fresh asparagus, trimmed, peeled and cut into 1-1/2-inch pieces
1 pound lean top sirloin, trimmed
2 teaspoons cornstarch
2 tablespoons dry sherry
2 tablespoons reduced-sodium soy sauce
Vegetable cooking spray 3 tablespoons water
Recipe
1. Partially freeze steak; slice diagonally across the grain into 1/4-inch strips; Set aside.
2. Combine cornstarch, sherry and soy sauce in a medium bowl; add steak strips. Let stand 10 minutes.
3. Coat a wok or heavy skillet with cooking spray; heat to medium-high for 2 minutes. Add steak and stir-fry until browned; remove from skillet. Add asparagus and water; cook about 2 minutes, stirring often. Return meat to skillet; cook until thoroughly heated.
