    Spaghetti with Broccoli

    List of Ingredients




    1 bunch broccoli, separated into florets, stems peeled and cut into bite-size pieces
    2 teaspoons finely chopped garlic
    6 tablespoons olive oil
    1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper
    1/2 cup chicken broth
    Freshly ground black pepper
    1 pound spaghetti or linguine, cooked and drained

    Recipe



    1. Cook the broccoli in boiling water for 3 minutes until crisp-tender. Chill under cold water.

    2. Sauté the garlic in the olive oil without browning.

    3. Add broccoli; cook and stir for 3 to 5 minutes.

    4. Add the crushed red pepper, broth and black pepper. Bring to a boil.

    5. Toss with hot spaghetti or linguine.
