    List of Ingredients

    2 teaspoons cornstarch

    1/4 cup soy sauce

    1/4 cup apricot preserves

    2 tablespoons sugar

    2 tablespoons white vinegar

    1 medium clove garlic, minced

    1/4 teaspoon ginger

    Dash pepper

    1 tablespoon orange juice

    1 tablespoon brandy

3-1/2 to 4 pounds of chicken pieces

    Recipe

    1. Stir the cornstarch and soy sauce together in a saucepan. Add the next 5 ingredients and cook over medium-high heat until thick and bubbling, about 2 minutes. Remove from heat. Stir in the orange juice and brandy.

    2. Place the chicken pieces, skin side down, in a 13 x 9 x 2-inch glass baking dish. Pour the sauce on top.

    3. Bake at 375 degrees F. for 30 minutes. Turn chicken pieces; baste with sauce and continue baking 30 minutes more.
