    1 (20-ounce) can crushed pineapple

    1/2 cup sugar

    1 large box apricot gelatin

    1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese

    1 (12-ounce) container Cool Whip

    Recipe



    1. Mix crushed pineapple, water and sugar in a pan and bring to a boil. Add gelatin and take off heat; stir until gelatin is dissolved.

    2. Let cool and add cream cheese.(I usually use a potato masher and mash the cream cheese until most of it is dissolved. Some have told me that they use the blender.)

    3. Refrigerate until mixture starts to thicken and congeal. Stir in Cool Whip until it is all mixed together. Chill overnight.
