    List of Ingredients




    1 medium cabbage, finely shredded in food processor (about 3 pounds)

    3/4 cup chopped onion

    1 small green bell pepper, chopped

    1 cup sugar

    1 cup white vinegar

    1-1/2 teaspoon salt

    1 teaspoon caraway seeds

    1 teaspoon paprika

    3/4 teaspoon black pepper

    1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper

    Recipe



    1. Combine the first 3 ingredients in a large bowl. Set aside.

    2. Combine sugar and the remaining ingredients; stir until blended. Pour over cabbage mixture; cover and chill until ready to serve.

    3. Serve with a slotted spoon. Use this slaw to top barbecued sandwiches.
