    • 1 pkg. cherry gelatin (4-serving size)
    • 1 pkg. chocolate cake mix (dark)
    • 1 envelope whipped topping mix
    • 1 pkg. chocolate instant pudding
    • 1 1/2 cups cold milk


    Instructions


    1. Dissolve gelatin in 3/4 cup boiling water; add 1/2 cup cold water and set aside. Mix and bake as directed in a 13 x 9 inch pan. Cool 20–25 minutes. Poke deep holes about 1” apart in cake with a meat fork.. Pour gelatin into holes. Refrigerate cake. In chilled bowl, blend and whip topping mix, instant pudding mix, and cold milk until stiff. Immediately frost cake and store in refrigerator. Serve chilled. Frosted cake may be frozen for storage.
