• 1 cup shortening (part butter)
  
• 1 cup sugar
  
• 2 eggs
  
• 1 cup milk
  
• 3 to 3 1/2 cups flour
  
• 1 tsp. baking powder
  
• 2 tsp. cream of tartar
  
• 1 tsp. soda
  
• nutmeg
  
• vanilla
  
• salt
  






Instructions



1. Mix ingredients. Put in refrigerator to chill. Roll thick. Press a dent in center and put in jelly. Bake in hot 435 to 450 degree oven.
