    List of Ingredients


    • 2 oz. butter or salad oil
    • 1 cup sliced onions
    • 1 diced green pepper
    • 2 tsp. salt
    • dash of pepper
    • 1 bay leaf
    • 2 whole cloves
    • 16 oz. tomatoes
    • 1 tsp. sugar
    • 2 Tbsp. flour
    • 2 Tbsp. water
    • 3 cups hot cooked rice
    • 2 pounds deveined prawns
    • 1 small can mushrooms


    Instructions


    1. In hot butter in saucepan, sauté onions until tender; add rest of ingredients except flour, water and prawns. Simmer for 30 minutes covered. Stir in flour mixed with water until smooth and cook, stirring until thickened. Remove bay leaf and cloves. Add prawns and mushrooms; heat and spoon over rice.
