    • Meat Filling:
    • 1-1/2 lb. lean ground beef
    • 2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
    • 3 slices bread, crumbed
    • 2/3 cup milk
    • 1 egg
    • 8 oz. pkg. mozzarella cheese, grated
    • 2 Tbsp. chopped parsley
    • 1/2 tsp. salt
    • 1/8 tsp. pepper
    • 28 oz. spaghetti sauce
    • 4 Tbsp. Parmesan cheese
    • Cheese Filling:
    • 24 oz. ricotta and cottage cheeses
    • 8 oz. grated mozzarella cheese
    • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
    • 1 Tbsp. chopped parsley
    • 2 eggs
    • dash nutmeg
    • 28 oz. spaghetti sauce
    • 4 Tbsp. Parmesan cheese


    Instructions





    1. Brown meat in oil in frying pan; remove excess fat. Combine bread and milk and allow to stand for 2 minutes. Add drained, cooked meat and remaining ingredients except spaghetti sauce and Parmesan cheese. Fill manicotti or cannelloni.
      Cheese Filling: Mix together and fill manicotti.
      Spread 1 1/2 cups spaghetti sauce in a 13 x 9 x 2 inch pan. Arrange filled manicotti in pan in a single layer. Pour over remaining sauce. Sprinkle with 4 Tbsp. Parmesan cheese. Bake covered in 350 oven for 45 minutes.
