    2 medium onions, chopped
    1-10 oz. package refrigerated home-style or buttermilk biscuits
    1 egg, slightly beaten
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    3 tablespoons butter
    1 cup sour cream
    1 teaspoon poppy seeds

    Recipe



    Saute onion slowly in butter until softened.
    Separate biscuits; place in a single layer in ungreased 8" layer cake pan, pressing together to cover bottom completely.
    Blend egg, sour cream and salt.
    Add to onion mixture and pour over biscuits.
    Sprinkle with poppy seeds.
    Bake 30 minutes at 375°.
    Slice in wedges, serve warm.
