    2 pounds medium-sized asparagus, trimmed, rinsed and dried
    1/3 cup extra-virgin olive oil
    Salt & pepper, to taste
    1 orange or lemon, halved
    1 1/2 tablespoon snipped chives, for garnish

    Recipe



    In a bowl, toss asparagus with the oil, salt and pepper.
    Grill over high heat, turning as they brown, about 7 to 8 minutes.
    Remove to a platter.
    Drizzle with any oil remaining in the bowl.
    Squeeze the orange or lemon orver all.
    Sprinkle with chives and serve.

    Serves 8. Per serving: 90 calories, 3g carbohydrates, 1g protein, 8g fat, no cholesterol.
