Baked Doughnuts

List of Ingredients


2 c Bisquick baking mix
1 tsp nutmeg
1/3 c light cream or half-and-half
2 Tbsp sugar
1/8 tsp cinnamon
1 egg
1/4 c melted butter or margarine
1/2 c sugar


Recipe



Combine all ingredients except margarine and 1/2 cup sugar. Mix well.
Turn dough out onto floured surface and knead 5 times. Pat dough out
to 1/2-inch thickness and cut with doughnut cutter. Bake on ungreased
cookie sheet at 400F for 8-10 minutes or until golden. Immediately
dip donuts in melted margarine and roll in sugar.
