Hellman's Chocolate Mayonnaise Cake

18 1/2 ounces cake mix -- devil's food type
3 eggs
1 cup water
1/2 cup mayonnaise -- Hellman's or Best Foods preferred
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease and flour two 9-inch cake pans.
In a large bowl add cake mix, eggs, water and mayonnaise. Beat on low speed until blended.
Pour into prepared pans and spread evenly in pans.
Bake 30 to 35 minutes or until cake tests done..
Cool in pans 10 minutes and then remove to wire cooling racks. Let cool. Frost as desired.
Serves 12 to 16.
To use a cake mix with pudding included: Increase mayonnaise to 1 cup.
