    Freezer Pimiento Cheese Sandwiches

    7 ounces pimientos, canned -- whole, drained
    3 ounces cream cheese -- softened
    1/2 cup Miracle Whip® light
    2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
    1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
    1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
    pinch white pepper
    3 tablespoons butter
    12 slices whole wheat bread -- or firm white bread

    Drain pimientos and chop coarsely. In a medium bowl, combine cream cheese and Miracle Whip and beat until smooth and fluffy. Add pimientos, cheese, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder and pepper. Stir gently by hand to blend.

    Lightly butter sliced bread. Spread sandwich mixture over bread slices. Put slices together to make sandwiches. Wrap each sandwich in freezer wrap and then seal in sandwich bag.

    Seal, label and freeze.

    Let thaw overnight in refrigerator or add frozen to brown bag lunches. Eat within two hours of being completely thawed.

    Makes 6 sandwiches.
