List of Ingredients
4 pork chops, about 1 pound
Salt and pepper
10 ounce can onion soup, condensed
1 soup can water
1/2 cup chopped celery
1/4 teaspoon thyme, crushed
1/2 cup rice
Recipe
Brown chops and pour off fat. Season with salt and pepper. Add soup, water, celery, thyme. Cover; simmer 30 minutes. Stir in rice. Cover; cook 20 minutes more or until chops and rice are tender. Serves 3 to 4.
Note: I usually use cream of celery soup instead of onion soup. Mushroom soup should work too.
