    Chicken or Turkey
    2 tablespoons flour
    2 tablespoons water
    1 cup chicken broth -- or turkey broth
    1 cup cooked chicken -- or turkey, boneless pieces of either
    Salt and pepper -- to taste
    Dumpling Dough
    1/3 cup flour
    1/2 teaspoon baking powder
    1/4 teaspoon salt
    2 tablespoons milk

    Recipe





    Mix flour and water in pan until smooth. Slowly stir in broth. Cook and stir until thickened. Add chicken or turkey, salt and pepper. Heat to boiling. Drop dumpling dough from a tablespoon onto gently boiling mixture to make 4 dumplings. Cover pan tightly and cook slowly for 15 minutes without lifting lid.

    Dumpling Dough

    Mix flour, baking powder and salt. Stir in milk.
