    Porcupine Meat Balls

    Source of Recipe

    Presto

    Recipe Introduction

This is an old TNT recipe. I have written the recipe as it was originally published. You can adapt your pressure cooking procedure based on your pressure cooker's manual. This recipe is a family favorite and one I used to prepare when I was a working journalist with little time to cook.

    List of Ingredients

    1 1/2 pounds ground beef
    1/2 cup rice
    1 teaspoon salt
    1/2 teaspoon pepper
    1 tablespoon onion, minced
1 small can tomato soup (I use a 10 ounce can of tomato soup)
    1/2 cup water

    Recipe

Wash rice thoroughly. Mix together meat, rice, salt, pepper and onion. Shape into small meat balls. Heat tomato soup and water in Cooker. Drop meat balls in soup mixture. Place cover on Cooker. Allow steam to flow from vent pipe to release all air from Cooker. Place indicator weight on vent pipe and cook 10 minutes with stem at COOK position. Let stem return to DOWN position.
