3/4 cup butter
1 1/2 cups heavy cream
1 1/4 cups Parmesan cheese -- freshly grated

Heat butter and cream in medium saucepan. Cook over medium heat until mixture is hot and butter melts. Reduce heat low and add Parmesan cheese. Cook until cheese melts and the sauce is smooth, stirring constantly. Serves 6 to 8.

You can add sauteed bell pepper strips, chicken strips or salmon chunks to the sauce to round out the dish.
