    Honey Carrots

    4 cups carrots -- cut diagonally into 1 inch pieces
    1 cup green onions -- cut into 1 inch pieces
    1/4 cup butter
    2 tablespoons honey
    Salt and pepper -- to taste, optional

    Recipe



    In medium saucepan, cover carrots with water and cook until crisp tender, about 7 to 8 minutes. Add green onion and cook 1 minute. Drain well. Stir in butter and honey. Add salt and pepper, if desired.

    Serves 4.
