    List of Ingredients




    2 cups all-purpose flour
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    3 tablespoons sugar
    1 tablespoon baking powder
    nutmeg
    3 eggs
    4 tablespoons butter or margarine, melted
    1 1/2 cups milk

    Recipe



    Sift or stir together thoroughly the first 5 ingredients. Seperate the eggs, adding the yolks to the milk and melted butter. Mix the dry and wet ingredients until a batter is formed. Whip the egg whites until stiff, then fold into the batter. Drop the batter by spoonfuls onto a hot, greased waffle iron. Cook until both sides are lightly browned. Serve with butter and syrup or cinnamon sugar.

    Serves 4
