    Corned Beef and Cabbage

    cook on high setting for 1 hour then low setting for 8 - 10 hours.


    List of Ingredients


    • 4 medium potatoes, cut into 1 inch pieces
    • 4 medium carrots, cut into 1 inch pieces
    • 1 medium onion, cut into 6 wedges
    • 2 - 2 1/2 pound corn beef brisket w seasoning packet
    • water
    • 1 head cabbage, cut into 8 wedges
    • 1/4 cup applesauce
    • 2 tbls Dijon mustard


    Instructions


    1. in the crockpot, combine potatoes, carrots and onions
    2. put corned beef on top of vegetables
    3. sprinkle corned beef with seasonings from packet
    4. add enough water just to cover the corned beef
    5. cover, and cook for above noted time
    6. when fully cooked, slice corned beef across grain into thin slices
    7. Mix applesauce with Dijon mustard and pour over sliced corned beef
