    cook 1 hour on high then 7 - 8 hours on low setting


    List of Ingredients


    • 4 pound boneless beef chuck roast
    • 1 tsp salt
    • 1/2 tsp pepper
    • 4 medium onions, sliced
    • 2 16 oz cans beef broth
    • 2 tbls brown sugar
    • 3 tbls Dijon mustard
    • 2 tbls apple cider vinegar


    Instructions


    1. Brown beef in large skillet, sprinkle with salt and pepper
    2. place onions on the bottom of the crockpot
    3. place beef on onions
    4. in a small bowl mix beef broth, brown sugar, Dijon mustard and apple cider vinegar
    5. pour mixture over beef, cover and cook
