    cook on high 1 hour, then low for 8 hours


    List of Ingredients


    • 1 med onion, peeled, sliced and separted into rings
    • 1 1/2 cups thin sliced mushroom
    • 2 1/2 pounds round or cubed steak cut into 3 or 4 pieces
    • 10 oz can cream of mushroom soup
    • 2 tbls tomato paste
    • 1/2 cup shredded swiss cheese


    Instructions


    1. place onion rings and mushroom in the bottom of a slow cooker
    2. place meat on top of onions
    3. mix undiluted mushroom soup with 1 tbls of tomato paste
    4. pour this mixture over meat
    5. 15 minutes before serving whisk remaining 1 tbps tomato paste into sauce
    6. sprinkle shredded swiss cheese over the top
    7. cover and continue cooking for 15 more minutes
