    List of Ingredients

    CAKE
    2 cups flour
    2 cups sugar
    2 eggs
1 8 oz. container of sour cream
    1 teaspoon of vanilla
    2 sticks of margarine/butter
    1 cup water
    2 heaping tablespoons of cocoa

    ICING
    1 stick of margarine/butter
    2 heaping tablespoons of cocoa
    6 tablespoons of milk
    1 teaspoon of vanilla
    1 box of confectioner’s sugar.
    1 cup chopped nuts (optional)

    Recipe

Grease a 9x13 glass baking dish and preheat oven to 350 degrees

    To make Cake:
In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, eggs, vanilla & sour cream.
In a second bowl, combine butter/margarine, water & cocoa. Put the second
bowl into the microwave until the butter is melted. Stir well.
Add the contents of the second bowl to the first bowl and mix on a low speed
until the ingredients are thoroughly combined. Break up any large lumps in
    the batter.
Pour the batter into the baking dish and cook at 350 degrees for 30-35
minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Allow
the cake to cool before icing.

    To make Icing:
Combine butter/margarine, vanilla, cocoa & milk in a large mixing bowl. Put
the bowl into the microwave until the butter is completely melted. Stir
    well.
Using a mixer on low speed, stir in the box of confectioner’s sugar. When
the ingredients are thoroughly mixed, add 1 cup of chopped nuts (this step
is optional) and spread the icing on the cooled cake. The icing should be
    thick & fudge-like.
