    Breadsticks

    Source of Recipe

Jennifer Duce- West Bend Breadmaker book

    List of Ingredients

    1 c. Warm water
    3 T. Butter or Margarine
    3 c. Flour
    3 ½ T. Sugar
    2 T. Dry milk
    1 tsp. Salt
    2 tsp. Yeast

    Recipe

For bread maker add ingredients to bread maker and use the dough cycle. I like to do this in my
food processor. Add water, butter, sugar, dry milk, salt, and yeast to food processor. Blend
these and let sit for a minute for the yeast to dissolve well. Add the flour and blend until all of the
dough forms a ball. Let it knead the dough for a minute or two longer and then turn the food
processor off. Let the dough sit in the food processor to rise until doubled in size. Take the
dough out of either the food processor or the bread maker and roll out to ½ inch thickness. Use a
pizza cutter or knife to cut the dough into 1 or 1 ½ inch strips. Place strips on an ungreased
cookie sheet and bake at 350* for 10 min or until lightly browned. Take directly from the oven
and brush with garlic butter and sprinkle parmesan cheese over the top of them. These are really
good by them selves or you can dip them in pizza sauce or ranch.
