    Waikiki Meatballs.

    1 1/2 lbs. of ground beef
    2/3 cup of cracker crumbs
    1/3 cup of minced onion
    1 egg
    1/1/2 tsp salt
    1/4 tsp.ginger
    1/4 cup of milk
    2tbsp. of cornstarch
    1/2 cup of brown sugar
    1 [ 13 1/2 ounce can of pineapple tidbits ]
    drained reserve syrup
    1/3 cup of vinegar
    1 tbsp. of soy sauce
    1/3 cup of chopped green pepper

    Mix beef, crumbs, onion, egg, salt, ginger and milk.
    Shape mixture into rounded tbsp into balls brown remove from pan and keep warm.
    Mix cornstarch and sugar, stir in reserved syrup,vinegar and soy sauce until smooth.
    Pour into pan and stir constantly until mixture thickens and boils.
    Boil and stir 1 minute
    Add meatballs, pineapple tidbits and green pepper heat through.
