    CHRISTMAS FUDGE

    3/4c margarine or butter

    3c sugar

    2/3c evaporated milk

    1 pkg. (12 oz.) Chocolate Chips

    1 jar (7 oz.) Marshmallow Cream

    1c chopped nuts (optional)

    1 tsp. vanilla

    Mix margarine and milk in 2 1/2-3 qt. saucepan, bring to full boil, stirring constantly.
    Continue boiling 5 min. over med.
    heat or until candy thermometer reaches 234F, stirring constantly to prevent scorching.
    Remove from heat and gradually stir in
    chips until melted. Add remaining ingredients and mix well.

    Pour into greased 9" or 13" x 9 " pans.
    Cool at room temperature and cut into squares.
    Makes about 3 pounds.
