    Mushroom Casserole

    1 lb. fresh mushrooms, washed and sliced
    (portabella mushrooms diced)
    1/2 c. diced onions
    1/2 c. diced celery
    1/4 c. diced green pepper (optional)
    1 lb. hamburger, browned and crumbled
    2 cans Cream of Mushroom Soup
    10 slices crumbled bread
    4 Tbsp. butter or margerine
    2 eggs
    1/2 c. milk
    salt & pepper to taste

    Saute celery, onions, and green peppers in 2 Tbsp butter. Saute mushrooms
    in 2 Tbsp butter in another pan. Mix everything together
    with 1 can soup and season to taste.
    In casserole dish, crumble 6 slices of bread. Beat eggs and milk together
    and pour over bread. Spread first mixture over that, cover with rest
    of bread crumbled. Spread second can of soup on top.

    Bake 325 for 30 to 40 minutes
