    POTATO CASSEROLE

    I use sliced potatoes with sliced onions and layer thenm with sea salt, pepper and little
    chucks of ham. Keep on doing this and when you aare thru then take a can of mushroom
    soup and mix in the layers. Do not add milk..... Can use cream of celery or cream of
    chicken soup... Bake at 350 for at least 40 min. or until tender. We love this and it is so
    simple as you can have the onions and the potatoes ready days ahead if you let them
    soak together for 2 hours in cold water after slicing and then drain and add to a zip top
    bag, get all the air out and these will stay white about 2 weeks in refrige.....Used to take
    these camping with us for frying... I also chop up celery and onions in food processor
    and then make a white sauce and pour over the potatoes and little pats of oleo... I don't
    use the soup when I do this.. As you can tell my recipes give you something to start with and then go from there..
