    Crockpot Macaroni and Cheese


    1 – 16 ounce Package Elbow Macaroni
    1 – stick Butter or Margarine
    2 - beaten eggs
    1 – 12 ounce can Evaporated Milk
    1 – can Campbells Cheddar Cheese Soup
    1 and 1/4 cup Milk
    2 - cups Shredded Cheddar Cheese (I mixed sharp and mild)
    1 - pound Velveeta Cheese – cubed
    1/8 teaspoon paprika

    Put ingredients in crockpot and cook on low for 4 to 5 hours. Stir occasionally. May also cook on high for 2+ hours – on low is best.

    May need to add more milk when finished cooking if desired. I always add more milk so it is creamier…especially before serving.

    Note from recipe provider… She partially cooked elbow mac… for half the instructions for cooking time on the box…before mixing in the crockpot…. She added all the ingredients first to soften and melt before she added the elbow macaroni.

    Marianne doubled the recipe…it fit perfectly in the 6 quart crockpot…right to the very top.
