Gube's mother's ham loaf
1 lb ham ground
1lb pork ground
2 eggs
3/4 cup of milk
3/4 cup cracker crumbs
2 tble catsup
Mix good.
Shape your loaf in large baking dish
I stick pineapple rings all over it held on by toothpicks (today I used pineapple chunks as that is what I had.)
Bake 1 hour @325 degrees Some will put their baking dish in a pan of water but I don't.
Glaze: I baste it when it is about one half cooked and the rest of the glaze I pour over it after I have removed it from the oven.
Glaze: 1/2 cup brown sugar
1 Tbs vinegar (apple cider)
1/4 cup pineapple juice
1 tsp mustard.
Very tasty hot or cold.
