    List of Ingredients


    • Butter - 1/2 stick
    • flour - 2 TBS
    • 1 can chicken, beef or vegetable stock
    • Salt and pepper to taste


    Instructions


    1. Simple. Melt butter, add flour and stir vigorously with fork or whisk until creamy
    2. Slowly add stock stirring constantly
    3. Turn heat to low until ready to serve


    Final Comments


    For an onion gravy, add chopped onions to butter before adding flour and cook onions until tender.
