    Chocolate Zucchini Cake

    It's hard to tell there's any zucchini in this cake.

    List of Ingredients




    1/2 cup soft butter
    1/2 cup oil
    1 3/4 cups sugar
    2 eggs
    1 teaspoon vanilla
    1/2 cup buttermilk
    2 1/2 cups flour
    4 tablespoons cocoa
    1 teaspoon soda
    1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
    1/2 teaspoon cloves
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    2 cups finely grated zucchini
    1/2 cup chocolate chips
    1/4 cup nuts

    Recipe



    Cream butter, oil and sugar. Add eggs, vanilla and buttermilk. Blend thoroughly. Sift together flour, cocoa, soda, cinnamon, cloves and salt. Blend with creamed mixture. Stir in zucchini. Spoon into greased and floured 9x13 pan. Sprinkle with chocolate chips and nuts. Bake in preheated slow oven (325) for 45 minutes or till done.
