A very pretty dessert. Easy and delicious as well.
List of Ingredients
1 cup flour
1/2 cup choppped nuts
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup melted butter
2 1/2 cups strawberries -- finely chopped
1/2 cup sugar
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 16 oz Cool Whip -- thawed
Recipe
Crust: Combine flour, nuts, brown sugar. Add melted butter, tossing to combine. Spread in shallow baking pan. Bake at 350 for 15 min. or until lightly browned, stirring occasionally. Sprinkle 1 1/2 crust mixture in 9x13 pan. Set aside.
Filling: In large bowl combine strawberries, sugar and lemon juice. Fold Cool whip into mixture. Carefully spoon filling over crust mixture in pan. Sprinkle remaining crust mixture on top. Cover and freeze for 6 hours or until firm. Take out 30 minutes before serving so you can cut it.
