    Must be refrigerated overnight.

    List of Ingredients




    1 loaf French bread
    9 eggs
    1 1/2 cup milk
    1 1/2 cups Half & Half
    4 teaspoons sugar
    1/4 teaspoon salt
    1 Tablespoon vanilla

    Recipe



    Slice bread in 1 inch slices and arrange in 1 layer in bottom of 9 x 13 pan. Mix remaining ingredients well, then pour over bread. Cover tightly with foil and refrigerate overnight.
    To bake: Remove foil. Turn each slice over. Dot with 2 Tablespoons butter and sprinkle with cinnamon. Bake uncovered at 350 for 45 to 50 minutes. Remove from oven, sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve with syrup or jelly.
