    1 can whole tomatoes
    1 small onion, cut into pieces
    1 clove garlic, minced
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    dash Cayenne pepper, if desired
    1 - 6 ounce can tomato paste
    1 pound ground beef, browned and drained
    2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
    9 corn tortillas

    Recipe



    Blend tomatoes, onion and garlic in blender. Pour into medium sauce pan. Add salt, tomato paste and cayenne pepper. Heat to a boil, simmer 5 to 10 minutes. Place 3 tortillas in bottom of crockpot, then 1/3 of the ground beef, 1/3 of the sauce and 1/3 of the cheese. Repeat layers. Cook on low 6 to 8 hours.
