Chocolate Whopper Cookies

My friend has tried to duplicate a cookie like she has purchased at a local bakery. This comes close!!!!!!!





List of Ingredients



• 1 c. pecans
  
• 6 ounces chopped semi sweet chocolate
  
• 2 ounces unsweetened chopped chocolate
  
• 6 T. butter ( 1 T. pieces)
  
• 1/4 c. sifted
  
• 1/2 tsp salt
  
• 1/4 tsp baking powder
  
• 2 large eggs
  
• 3/4 c. sugar
  
• 2 tsp vanilla
  
• 6 ounces choc chips
  






Instructions



1. Toast pecans 350 degrees 8 minutes. Cool.
   
2. In medium saucepan combine 2 chocolates with butter until melted. Remove from heat.
   
3. In small bowl, combine eggs, sugar, amd vanilla. Beat until fluffy.
   
   
4. Add chocolate mixture to flour mixture. Use wooden spoon to stir in chips and nuts.
   
5. Mound onto parchment covered covered sheets.
   
6. Bake at 350 degrees on upper and middle racks. Bake 17 minutes. Cool on rack.
   






Final Comments


These remind me of a rich chocolate brownie.
