Low Cal Beef Stew---Delicious
List of Ingredients
1 lb. of extra lean stew beef
1/2 lb. baby carrots
2 lg. onions, cut into eighths
3 med. potatoes, cut in 1" chunks
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. freshly ground pepper
1 tsp. garlic powder
1 T. dried parsley
1 T. dried thyme
1 can Campbell's Tomato Bisque Soup (or regular cream of tomato)
1/2 soup can red wine or water
Mix everything together in a large dutch oven or casserole. Cover with foil, then lid. Bake in a
275F oven for 5 hrs. Check every so often to make sure there is enough liquid. You can add
other vegetables, such as green beans, peas, mushrooms, etc. These should be added in
the last hour of cooking. Recipe
