    List of Ingredients


    • 1/2 teaspoon superfine sugar
    • 1/2 ounce plus 2 ounces bourbon
    • 8 - 10 red stemmed mint leaves
    • 2 cups crushed ice
    • sparkling water
    • 1 lemon twist
    • 1 mint sprig
    • confectioners sugar


    Instructions


    1. In a 12 ounce glass, dissolve sugar in 1/2 ounce bourbon.
    2. Add mint and bruise with muddler or wooden spoon. Fill the glass with 2/3 cups crushed ice and mix gently
    3. Add mor ice and remaining bourbon. Top with sparkling water and stir. Rub rim of glass with lemon twist.
    4. Serves 1
