    List of Ingredients


    • 3 1/2 cups flour
    • 2 tsp. soda
    • 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    • 1 tsp. salt
    • 3 tsp. cinnamon
    • 1 tsp. nutmeg
    • 1 cup oil
    • 2/3 cup cold water
    • 1 to 2 cups raisins
    • 1 to 2 cups pecans
    • 3 cups sugar
    • 1 large can pumpkin


    Instructions


    1. In a large pan mix sugar, eggs, water and pumpkin.
    2. Set aside.
    3. Mix dry ingredients and all a little at a time to pumpkin mixture.
    4. Stir well.
    5. Add raisins and pecans.
    6. Pour into 5 greased (not floured) 1 pound coffee cans.
    7. Fill 1/2 full.
    8. Bake at 300 for 1 hour.
    9. Can be baked in loaf pans.
